St. Paul’s Strawberry Shorecake returns to Founder’s Day
Once again the delicious strawberry treat will be available at Founder’s Day at DeRivera park. Parish members and ordering supplies with glee and organizing to prepare gallons of strawberries to receive a mountain of whipped cream as we serve our island guests in the park..
St. Paul’s Outdoor Golf Cart Worship 10:30 a.m.
St. Paul’s is enjoying fresh air worship for several more weeks. We’ve added some up-beat musicians as well. The revised guidance from our bishop is: “masks are not required to be worn outdoors, though are encouraged for non-vaccinated teens and adults, per CDC guidelines.” If weather takes us indoors at 10:30 a.m. we will observe appropriate caution to protect the health of all our members. We continue to livestream worship services from St. Paul’s throughout June although the format will change a bit. The livestream link is available on Facebook and on our parish web page each Sunday morning.
St. Paul’s Summer “Early Riser” Service 8:00 a.m.
Early worship for those who work or want to get moving on Sunday. The early worship service returns to St. Paul’s beginning June 6th. It is a service for those on the go and will be held indoors. Our bishop asks us to continue using masks and sitting apart during our indoor services. Participants can volunteer to assist with the service as readers and intercessors should contact Mo Mary at St. Paul’s office. We welcome summer visitors at either of our two services.
PIB Community Vacation Bible Camp August 2021
This year our theme will be Rocky Railway. Get on our mailing list for the latest news as we prepare to gather in the Town Hall in August. Volunteers from St. Paul’s and Mother of Sorrows will help our youth experience the exciting theme… we will explore how through life’s ups and downs, “Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through.” Each day Monday through Friday we will have stories, crafts, activities and lots of fun! Open to kids entering 1st to 5th grades. Older kids can sign up as assistants. Younger kids can participate if they bring along an adult who will stay with them all morning to help them with all our activities.
