Perry's Cave Family Fun Center

Perry's Cave on Put-in-Bay is an interesting visit.  This cave was once used by Oliver Hazard Perry to retrieve water for his weary men.  He was the commander famous for defeating the British during the War of 1812.  His famous line, "Dont' Give Up the Ship," can still be seen adorning flags on the island.  The water was collected from a water reserve inside the cave.

Although it has not been fully discovered, some speculate that this water source may be connected to Lake Erie.  This is thought because the water levels seem to rise and fall with lake levels.  Bring the family for an informative and interesting Put-in-Bay attraction.
